Who We Are

Samarth Bhavana Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of abandoned and vulnerable children across India. Every child deserves safety, care, and the opportunity to grow, learn, and achieve their dreams—and we are committed to making that a reality. Our vision is to create a world where every disadvantaged child has the chance to thrive, reach their full potential, and build a brighter future, regardless of their circumstances. We provide holistic support to children in need, including safe shelter, nutritious food, clean clothing, medical care, and access to quality education. Beyond meeting their basic needs, we nurture hope, dignity, and confidence, helping children believe in themselves and their dreams. At Samarth Bhavana Foundation, we believe that every child deserves a chance to succeed. By supporting the most vulnerable children in our communities, we aim to create a compassionate and equitable India—one child at a time.

Meet the Team

Devesh Kothare, Founder

Devesh is a Foreign Medical graduate and a Healthcare Executive with more than 19 years’ experience in Hospital and Outpatient Clinic Management with expertise in financial management, compliance, business development, strategic planning, contract negotiations, billing, collections and human resource management. He has managed multiples Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Sleep Labs and physician practices. He specializes in insurance contract review, negotiations and auditing patient’s liabilities for practices.

Aishwarya Kothare, Founder

MD is a resident physician in Internal Medicine at University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio. She earned her medical degree at UT Long School of Medicine. She is committed to working towards creating meaningful change that helps children feel supported, healthy and empowered.

Secure and Nurturing Shelter:

A safe and stable environment is the foundation for a child’s physical and emotional well-being. At Samarth Bhavana Foundation, we provide abandoned and vulnerable children with shelters that are secure, nurturing, and emotionally supportive. These homes are more than just a roof over their heads—they are spaces where children feel loved, protected, and valued. In these environments, children develop a sense of belonging and self-confidence, build meaningful relationships, and experience the emotional stability that is essential for personal growth. By creating a safe haven, we empower children to overcome trauma, heal from past hardships, and embrace their future with hope and resilience.

Nutritional Sustenance:

Proper nutrition is essential for a child’s growth, health, and development. We provide nutritious, balanced meals that fuel strength, energy, and focus, supporting academic, physical, and emotional well-being. Beyond food, we teach healthy eating habits, helping children understand the importance of nutrition as part of a holistic approach to lifelong health.

Comprehensive Medical Care:

Health is vital for a child to thrive. At Samarth Bhavana Foundation, we provide preventive healthcare, medical check-ups, vaccinations, and timely interventions, along with psychosocial support to help children overcome trauma or emotional challenges. By addressing both physical and mental well-being, we empower children to grow strong, confident, and ready to pursue their dreams.

Educational Empowerment:

Education unlocks a child’s potential. At Samarth Bhavana Foundation, we provide quality education, enriched learning resources, and skill-building programs that foster literacy, creativity, and practical life skills. Provision of Clothing and Essentials:

Children cannot thrive if their basic needs are unmet.
